Sphir Code of Conduct

  • General Purpose. The Technology is a social network built on honesty and mutual respect amongst its users and the general public. Sphir honors Technology users’ civil rights, including without limitation freedom of speech rights under the United States Constitution. With these freedoms in mind, Sphir has adopted a balanced approach to Technology user conduct that protects your civil rights, while enforcing honest, respectful, and legal activity on the Technology.
    While your anonymity is protected, your adherence to this code of conduct from your Technology activities must be absolute. Sphir will maintain a zero-tolerance policy with regard to each and every item on the prohibited conduct list as provided in Section 3.2 below. Enforcement of the terms of this Section 3 of the Agreement for violation of such restrictions can include immediate and permanent suspension of your Technology user account and the reporting of such conduct to applicable authorities.
  • Prohibited Content and Interactions. Sphir does not permit any content or interaction on the Technology that constitutes or consists of:
    • Threats of Violence. Threats of violence including but not limited to:
      • Direct or indirect physical threats;
      • Direct or indirect psychological threats;
      • The referencing of suicidal acts;
      • Threats of suicide; or
      • Threats of bodily harm, whether to one’s self or another.
    • Terrorist Acts and Conduct. Sphir takes any warning, planning, or communication of terrorist acts to persons, entities, and properties very seriously. Sphir urges all Technology users to report any suspected terrorist-type activities. Any and all types of terrorist activity on the Technology, whether warning or communication of the same, will result in restricted or termination of access to the Technology, and reporting to applicable enforcement.
    • Sexual Content. Sexual content including but not limited to:
      • inappropriate nudity;
      • pornography;
      • sex work or the promotion of prostitution, including virtual sex acts;
      • child pornography;
      • Human trafficking;
      • Nonconsensual sexual imagery; or
      • Sexual abuse of any kind.
    • Discriminatory or Bullying Conduct. Discriminatory or bullying conduct on any of the Technology including but not limited to:
      • Hate speech with threats of violence; or
      • Bullying against a person or group based on race, religious beliefs, country of origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or gender.
    • Stalking. Willfully and maliciously harassing any individual or close contact on the Technology by threatening intent to harm or cause them to fear for their safety.
    • Hacking. Illegally accessing someone’s account on the Technology to collect personal information of another Technology user.
    • Impersonation. Misrepresenting another person or entity through imitation on any aspect of the Technology.
    • Trolling. Intentionally provoking or upsetting people on any aspect of the Technology.
    • Doxing. Posting another Technology user’s personal information on the Technology or another online platform without the other user’s consent.
    • Swatting. Creating a fake emergency, via the Technology or other online technology, involving applicable authorities.

Reporting. If you are aware of any conduct identified on Section 3.2 of this Agreement on any of the Technology, please notify Sphir. In your message, please include a description of the offense (the account, post, image, card, folder, or any other content) as well as one or more screen shots of the offensive content along with a view of the poster’s account name and profile photo. Additional, personal actions you can consider taking after reporting the offense can include:

  • Ignoring, deleting, or unfollowing the offensive account or post/comment/content;
  • “Unfriending” an offensive account; or
  • Blocking the account or offensive post/comment/content.
